Yuverta has been firmly entrenched in the Limburg landscape for 100 years. The comprehensive school community works closely with business, public and social organizations. This enables College to offer students educational options that are in line with the latest innovations; this relevant education is also geared towards the students’ specific talents. Yuverta has a satellite facility at the Brightlands Campus Greenport Venlo so that students and instructors can work with business on-site, tackling challenges in the agro, food, nature and living environment areas.
Yuverta Bedrijfsopleidingen has experience in developing and participating in (inter)national projects. Yuverta has an excellent track record, particularly when it comes to innovation and online learning. The school also participates in projects operated by other schools or knowledge centers.
Natuurpro is a network of nature professionals committed to creating natural living environments in both urban and rural areas. Through collaboration and knowledge sharing, the network brings together landscaping companies, ecological consultancy firms, and engineering and landscape architecture practices.
With the expertise to manage projects from design to maintenance, Natuurpro strives to contribute to a greener Netherlands where biodiversity takes center stage.
The European Platform for Urban Greening (EPLUG) aims to intensify the collaboration within the knowledge triangle (VET – Research & Development – Business) to facilitate these adjustments and to develop high quality curricula and qualifications focused on these urban greening skills needs and societal challenges.
The network aims to increase the quality and adaptability of the skills ecosystem (VET, Companies, Policy makers, Individuals) for urban green landscaping. As driver of excellence and innovation, each European CoVE on Urban Greening promotes the proactive role for VET in local/regional development.
Established in 1963, the European Landscape Contractors Association (ELCA) serves as a leading platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and advocacy within the European landscaping industry. ELCA works to foster cooperation among landscape professionals while enhancing the visibility and recognition of the industry across Europe and globally.
A key focus of ELCA is political engagement and representation. The association actively maintains and strengthens relationships with members of the European Parliament, European Commission officials, and other relevant stakeholders. By building partnerships with like-minded organizations and expanding its network in Brussels, ELCA ensures that the interests of the landscape industry are effectively represented at the highest levels of policymaking.
Through these efforts, ELCA continues to advance the development and impact of the landscaping profession throughout Europe and beyond.
